Hi, i'm doing a project on inspirational athletes and i am planning to do a review of the impact sports had on your life. Could you please post a blog about how you felt before you participated in your first race for the diabled which you won.The feeling of being left out or whether you self confidence then?  And what was the change you experienced after that race. Maybe you had a different viewpoint of life from the one you had before the race? The different feelings you had before and after the race.Open-mouthed

Congrats OSCAR Pistorius!

I want to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to Oscar Pistorius, my fellow team Ossur athlete, and I must admit a hero of mine. On Friday May 16th, the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) in Lausanne, Switzerland, overruled the IAAF ban on amputee "blade runner," Oscar Pistorius. Here's a link to the press release (in english): http://www.tas-cas.org/d2wfiles/document/1086/5048/0/press%20release%20pistorius%20english.pdf I am so happy for you Oscar, it must be such a huge relief to take care of this business so you can concentrate on your passion, your gift and your sport. Run fast! Run Strong! We are cheering for you from all corners of the world.

True Iron ATHLETES, True Iron PEOPLE

CONGRATS to all the Challenged Athletes that race in the Ironman 70.3 this past Sunday. I am so proud of the performances in that triathlon. I'd like to make a special shout out to Jonathon Bik, Tracey Moore, and of course Evan Morgan and the whole Operation Rebound team for CAF. You can read more about Evan's story in this OC Register article from David Whitings outdoor column. Enjoy :) http://www.ocregister.com/articles/morgan-one-lucky-2010496-ironman-marine Keep racing, keeping living STRONG! Fight on, Sarah

XAble interview

Here's an interview I did a couple weeks ago in Longboat Key, FL. We chatted right by the beach and caught up on so many different life moments from the Barcelona games, Ironman and the Amazing Race, there was a lot to talk about: http://www.xable.com/videos/100580 XAble is an interactive media network for the disabled community. Elio Navarro is the founder and the one who came down to interview me. There's a lot of cool info and videos featured on XAble. I really liked the one of my comedian friend Josh Blue. http://www.xable.com/videos/100362
